The Ranch offers room for everyone to play in their own way—and if you love the outdoors, you’ll discover endless options for adventure on our 500 acres. Whether you want to explore our trails and wilderness on your own or have an expert to guide you, we make it easy to get out and enjoy our vast playground. Here are just a few of our favorite adventurous activities!
Four wheels, one great off-road experience
The Ranch has rugged, beautiful mountainous areas—places that aren’t really accessible by foot, on a bike, or in a car. But on an ATV? Piece of cake! And with our guided off-road excursion, even the driving is handled for you (which is ideal, because you’re going to want to take lots of pictures).
With one of our naturalists as your “chauffeur,” you’ll roll through miles of incredibly scenic terrain filled with wildlife, majestic oaks, and other awe-inspiring natural features—learning interesting facts and making stops for photos and beverages along the way.
Pedal power (or powered pedaling)
Prefer to push yourself a little more? Our mountain-biking tour is just up your alley. But don’t worry if you don’t want to push yourself too hard: These bikes feature pedal assistance to help you climb the hills on our exclusive course! You’ll have a guide with you to point out wildlife and other scenery (and help make sure you don’t wander off too far).
This is an activity best for intermediate-level riders, even with the turbocharge assist—it includes some challenging traverses that are perfect for experienced adventurers.
Hoof it with a hike
Of course, you don’t have to ride to see amazing scenery at The Ranch, because many of our trails are easily accessible for all levels! From the easy downhill stroll of Gitalong Way to gentle climbs and more challenging hikes, just keep putting one foot in front of the other and you’ll soon be rewarded with spectacular views.
